Mesenchymal cells: what is their purpose and when are they used?

Mesenchymal cells and, more generally, regenerative medicine, represent one of the most current challenges for the treatment of degenerative diseases and in many other fields of medicine.

But what are they and how can they be used?
Mesenchymal cells are a type of adult stem cell which can be found in various body tissues, such as bone marrow, adipose tissue and connective tissue. These cells have the ability to differentiate into various type of specialized cells, such as bone, cartilage, muscle and adipose cells.

They are known for their regenerative potential, making them promising in various fields of medicinal application including regenerative aesthetic medicine.
